MAKE YOUR GOOGLE ACCOUNT AS A HARDDISK

Maybe you have already known that gmail.com can be a harddisk where you can save you documents, image and data. Gmail.com has so many features for users to use. One of the features is to make google mail or gmail becomes a harddisk. Saving your data in gmail is a wise decision. besides, gmail has a big capacity or save to save the data. By using Gmail Drive you can copy your file in gmail account and to re-retrieve it.

Gmail Drive is a Shell Namespace Extension (Ed.461/3 march 2006/Komputek) that enables you to make a google account as a harddisk.

As you know that you can add or create a new folder at your google account and Gmail Drive can do the same. Gmail Drive will create a 'new' drive at your computer.
As you know that "inbox" in your google account will be crowded of emails coming to your google account. I think that will not be wise for you to save your file where inbox is. To make it more comportable, you can make a new folder (e.g. GmailFILE, etc).

This file is in ZIP file and you should extract the file before you do the installation into your computer.

Visual Basic 6 or Upper ?

Visual basic, nowadays, has reached its advance and betterment. This case is really fun as long as developer needs more than what developer around the world thinks for their needs.

To reach compatibility in programming, Microsoft Corporation develop this flatform to be more since competition can not be avoided. To tell you the truth, Visual basic 6, for us, is compatible for all. We, till now, still take this to design and fulfill all clients. They give me good response for this!

I think it is okay if we recommend you to take this for your projects. And we really hope Microsoft could stay and listen to what we need right now.

Many developers/programmers in indonesia. the minimum requirements for advanced Visual basic like Visual Basic 2008 even 2010 is too hard to take. This is huge investments to perform!

9.working with Flash Player (swf file)

Flash9c.ocx is an ActiveX Component or OCX Component. this is used to display animated image by using Ulead Cool 3D, for example.

1. Copy and Paste the File (Flash9c.Ocx and Flash9c.oca) in the sysytem32 of Windows directory
2. Open a new project
3. Right Click on the Toolbox and Click Browse to find the OCX Component in the directory (no.1)
4. Apply and OK after that place the OCX on the form.

Set thre property of Flash9c.ocx like this below!

name = ShockwaveFlash1 > swf1

then click [custom] in the property and fill the box of [movie URL] with the Animated-Image that has been designed by Ulead or other Software of animator!

Then Apply and OK
At last, Compile the Project!

10.working with progress bar components (OCX)

OCX Components needed are ;
1. Microsoft Windows Common Control 6.0
2. Timer
3. 2 Command Buttons

change the property like this below!

Name : Timer > timer1
Name : Progressbar > pb1
Appearance of progressbar > 0 - ccFlat
Interval of Timer 1> 50
Enabled of Timer1 > False
Name : Command1 > CmdStart
Caption of CmdStart > Start
Name : Command2 > CmdStop
Caption of CmdStop > Stop

here, we will control the pb1 by using these buttons (cmdStart & cmdStop)
When CmdStart is clicked the pb1 will run and when CmdStop is clicked the pb1 will stop running.

Then, place the pb1 wherever you like, see pic!

Then Type this code below!

Visual Basic Component Tools Guide 5.0 Mastering Ocx in programming visual basic is very important. it is because most of programmers must have used this. The default components are displayed in the tool box form (IDE). To pick other components you have to ;

1). Click (Right click) and choose "Components ...."
2). pick the component/ocx you wish then click [apply]
3). clik twice to set the ocx or click once and then clik-and-drag it on the form of your vb projects.
